DIY electronics and strobe lights
The artist uses optoelectronic oscillators which produce a repetitively modulated wave. The light sources control the circuits modulating the signal. In a sound/light integration, the modulation of tone activates an interactive system based on DIY circuitry. It is a self-generated sonic machine creating a syncopated, high-pitched, noisy beep.

Dusty Ritualism Noise-wall
I started making noise music as a serious pursuit of artistic expression roughly three years ago. I must have discovered noise music not much longer before that, mostly through being very active with the Soundcloud and Last.fm communities that would end up introducing me to many of the noise artists I count among my key influences to this day.

Artists:
Reality / Nicola serra / ALMA / Esther Planas / Medial Ages
Reality
Virtual network noise
Reality (Daniil Alexandrov, Robert Pavlovskis and Zhenia Vasiliev) brings electro-acoustic sound work, live video mixing and performativity to investigate the phenomenon of empathy in digital networks. Entymology is an exercise of multi-modal translation: bodies into texts, texts into aural, and of insects’ speech into human speech. Reality asks about the study of communication in insects, particularly those ones living socially. The collective approaches critically the idea of collective action, arguing instead that users are involved on the level of the individual, rather than collective, action frame.

Nicola Serra Il Santo Bevitore
Ritual Ethnics Electronics
Inspired by ancient rites and practices, IlSantoBevitore continues his ethnomusicological research and ethnic electronics. ‘Realm of consciousness’ explores the theme of percussions and shamanism, the connection between each other’s, using repetition codes as a key to hypnotise and trance the listener. This work aims to blur the distance between practitioner and listener. Sound is a mixture of blackened tribal, ritualistic percussions, raw beats, lo-fi noise and hypnotic vocals ceremonials.

ALMA (Ruido & Tiago de Almeida)
Textures Experimental Free-form
ALMA is the on&off project of Ruido and Tiago de Almeida. In the past this duo has created music for theatre, adverts and other dance floor smashers. Nowadays they’ve let go of form and function, focusing purely on tonality and freedom of expression. Ruido collects field recordings which are processed live creating a distorted set of landscapes. Tiago de Almeida experiments with fleshing out the hidden tonality of single note long evolving drones. Together they push each others sonic boundaries, creating a dynamic dialog of textures.
Esther Planas
An intervention of live sound and film at the Site Specific project PAMM. A room covered in Black Plastic , a Film made of other films reframed, Live sound from a Guitar, Pedals Flanger, Delay, Distortion, Reverb and a Theremin plus a 300wats Marshall Amp and a smaller amp. Noise, light and flickering time. The iconic works of Tony Conrad, Nam Jum Paik and Hans Richter get filmed wile on line on Youtube channel. The filming of the computer screen, is very basic and only a partial “re-framed” part of the screen is shoot .
